Counselling Intern
Hi, I’m Alicia.
Hi, I’m Alicia — and I’m genuinely glad you found your way here too. I’m a counselling intern and graduate student in the Master of Marriage and Family Therapy program at Trinity Western University. I create a warm, unhurried space where you can show up exactly as you are.
“I’m especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals and the families who love them.”
Whether you’re navigating a new diagnosis, trying to understand how your brain works, or simply looking for someone who gets it — this is a space that holds all of that. Before training as a counsellor, I worked with Community Living BC and other organizations supporting people with disabilities and mental health needs. That work taught me a great deal about resilience, complexity, and the particular exhaustion of navigating systems while also carrying the emotional weight of caregiving. I don’t take that for granted.
Outside the room
When I am not with clients or buried in grad school reading, I'll likely be walking my dog, crocheting something ambitious, catching up with friends over coffee, or hunting down the next great spot for an iced latte!
